  In the vast expanse of space, I float alone, No other human near, I am on my own. Lost on a mission to research black holes and time, I feel the weight of loneliness, a heavy climb. On Earth, you say you don't need a partner to survive, Yet with friends and family, you feel alive. But here in space, with no one in sight, I long for a companion to share my plight. No other human here, just me in sight, I feel the weight of being alone at night. For me, a partner is a vital human need, To share my journey, and my dreams to feed. You say God created you as gay or lesbian, But in space, I see why a man and woman were chosen. To continue life, to have children for every season, A second human, different sex, for a meaningful reason. You say you can't love someone of different religion, But in space, it's a different vision. What matters is the presence of a soul, Not what religion can divide and control.   A missed chance at love, Regret lingers in my heart. A girl with glasses and a smile, But I passed by without a start. Her welcome smile, a sign to speak, But my shyness held me back. Now she's gone, a chance missed, Leaving my heart off track. Does she think of me, I wonder? Does she regret not saying hi? Perhaps she's as shy as I am, Leaving us both wondering why. I used to wonder how can a small animal could outrun my speed. How does it work? In this age of advanced technology, where people fell in love without knowing each other through digital communication, there is a similar story that happened in 1838 during the war between the Zulu and the Voortrekker Boers in Azania(South Africa) in the Battle of Blood River, also called the Battle of Ncome River.
